Although the company is focused primarily on individual insurance, it does offer a businessowner’s policy for small business, commercial package policies for larger businesses, workers’ compensation (only in Illinois), commercial auto, and a commercial umbrella package.
Country Financial has the standard options available such as collision, comprehensive, uninsured motorist and liability. The company offers additional coverage options that include; waiver of deductible available for repairing or replacing “Safety Glass”; 100% repair/replacement coverage is available for cars four years old or newer, or emergency road service. Discounts for driver courses, good students, certain equipment, multi-car and multi-policy discount. First responders and teachers can receive an occupation discount. Motorcycle and personal umbrella policies are also available. An auto policy can also carry special tenant coverage for renters with basic needs without opening a separate renter’s policy.
There are three levels of coverage to choose from based on the company’s website, Basic Coverage, Premier Coverage, or Combination Coverage. The policies include standard homeowner policies, but mobile home insurance is available to Illinois residents. The company also offers a “country estate” policy if you have a small farm but make less than $2,500/year from farming. Discounts available include a “Safe Heat Discount”, and a “Dwelling Age Discount”.
Farm & Ranch Insurance
There are also three levels of Farm & Ranch coverages to choose from on the website. The policies cover liability and medical payments, home, farm outbuildings and farm personal property including livestock, machinery, hay, grain, tools, supplies, and equipment. The Agri-Plus option offers higher coverage limits than many competitors. Crop insurance, sold separately, is also available.
- Health, disability, Medicare supplement, and long-term care insurance—coverages are handled through various subsidiaries. Pet insurance is available.
- Life insurance and annuities—term, whole, and universal life, including survivor coverage, are offered.
